Unless you have been living in a cave you have probably read or watched that an advanced computer by the name of Watson is playing two human contestants in a Hollywood style trivia showdown on television called the IBM Jeopardy! Challenge.
Spoiler alert, Watson is crushing the humans.
While Watson was created at IBM’s Research lab in Yorktown Heights, NY, demo versions of the advanced Q&A system are going on a roadshow and its first stop is Hanover, Germany at CeBIT 2011.
If you plan on attending the annual IT Expo, Watson will be demonstrated in the IBM booth, Stand A10, Hall 2. Performing the demonstration will be none other then two of the inventors of Watson, David Gondek and David Shepler.
The demo will feature examples of how Watson works, how it chooses the question and answer and if the line isn’t too long, you may even get to see Watson in action.
So stop by and if Watson is too busy I can ask you challenging questions.
